It’s good that they are making decisions, taking necessary steps and leading while most colleges are keeping students in limbo. I’ve heard they also handled hurricane Harvey very well and seems to make their own decisions instead of waiting for other colleges to go first.
Rice is going to use some portable classrooms and open air outdoor tents among other things to keep density down this fall. They are asking students to bring portable camping chairs and buying some too.
They said they would have more details about move in and orientation for the students in early July.
