Rice Superscoring Policy?

Although Rice requires all SATs and subject tests to be submitted and superscores them, do the admission officers still look at all the scores from all the tests? Will that factor into admissions decisions? Also, I've taken the Math II, Chemistry, and French subject tests, but I did poorly in French. Will Rice just look at math and chem since they require two subject tests? Just fyi, my proposed major is engineering.

Yes they do. This is to ensure that you don’t get a huge advantage by taking the test 8 times (while others who may not have the financial ability to do so only take it once). If you have taken it a few times, it is unlikely to hurt you at all.

IIRC, they look at your best 2 subject tests. Even if they look at French, it isn’t going to torpedo your application.
