Accepted, ACT 36. SAT 2330, rank 12/531. Financial package sucks though
Accepted! Where the heck do I find financial aid though??? -_-
@Stephiey, check esther.rice.edu, you should’ve gotten an email a couple of months back that said your ID number and your pin to get in.
@Stephiey scroll down and check the left hand corner! I did not apply for FA but got merit scholarship notification there. So i imagine it will be the same place?
ACCEPTED

Accepted with $98,000 scholarship over four years!
Accepted! International student, applied for need-based aid but no message from Esther so far.
@yelpet98 oh ok… i guess I just never made that account.
@Extra0dinary Yeah, I don’t think I ever made that financial aid account! Just made it and trying to figure out where to find it ;_; but I’ll get it eventually. Thank you both!
Accepted with Trustee Distinguished/Rice Century Scholar
Does anyone else get “No award information is available for you at this time, please contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have questions. Below is a summary of important key factors that can affect awards:”
under award for aid year?
just curious but for FA, is the award only listing merit-based or both merit-based and need-based?
literally wth @ rice being so lowkey w these admissions. this was such a complete surprise!
i got in with the trustee distinguished scholarship ($98k/4 years)! that’s so exciting!!!
congrats to all those were accepted! for those who weren’t, remember that you’re the same student you were before you knew your decision. you’re so, so, so talented, and any college that doesn’t recognize that is missing out on so much.
accepted!
.
@idkschool @americannigerian how do you know that you got the scholarship?
@eyesight2020 does it tell you about the scholarship in the letter?
Accepted. My counselor flagged me down, said you have some news. Raced to my room. I worked so hard to get here. I worked so hard. For all you have given, thank you God. I’m so happy I even wish yalebound2020 a great year at Yale. Let’s put aside our blunt swords. I wish all of you the best of everything. And if you have any questions on this site, you should ask wandlmink. She never has been wrong about anything. Thank you wandlmink and good luck to your daughter.
@runbuffet i had two letters. the status update immediately directed me to the decision letter, but when i scrolled down, there was a link to a scholarship letter as well, and that’s where i found out about trustee.
