<p>Financial aid is unlikely, certainly no need-based I would suspect.</p>
<p>Assuming you live in the US, nearly every college in the US evaluates its admissions on a need-blind basis.</p>
<p>If you are a white kid, it doesn't help. Colleges like low-income, high-achieving minorities, but assuming your stats are good your chances won't really be affected by your financial good.</p>
<p>I had called 5 colleges (all somewhat small LACs) and 3 out of 5 said they were need-blind. 2 said they were NOT. Out of the 3 that said they were need blind, 2 told me they were NOT need blind for ED. So, it all depends! </p>
<p>While it sounds very nice and ethical for a college to contend they are need-blind...keep in mind that they are BUSINESSES. Need I say more?</p>

<p>hmmm does that mean im rich i knew i had money but theres heck loads of people with more money then me...my dad makes 200-250 thousand and owns a party rental buisiness in The bronx we live in Western Long Island in a big house 25 minutes from JFk Airport</p>
