Our rising-senior daughter was blown-away by the beauty of the Richmond campus during an early-Summer visit this year. It quickly rose to the top of her college-search list. She is currently taking a microbiology class at U.Penn and seems to really enjoy an urban setting. Question: How hard is it for a Richmond freshman, sophomore, etc., without a car, to escape the "bubble" and go shopping, dining, and generally enjoy the city environment? Thanks! Ron

Easy! They have frequent shuttle service into the city.

Plenty of options.

I knew I could depend on “05” to fill in some details! I was on my iPhone when I posted.

Thanks for the replies … she will apply ED to UR and in addition, to Ga.Tech (legacy), U.Penn, Haverford and Allegheny College (1-1/2 hours N of us in Pittsburgh). I am sure we will be back to UR for another visit and UR is sending Tom Nicholas to visit her HS on Sept. 19th.
