Richmond University in London

At the performing arts fair today, a little gem popped up. Anyone know anything about this school?

bisouu, I live in London and have never heard of this university - neither have my parents (who are both American and know the name of most universities in the UK as well as the US).

I have just asked my best friend who attends the American School in London (where most students who have moved here from America attend) and she has never heard of it either.

I was curious so looked at the matriculation page of her school and none of the students went to Richmond University, despite some students attending university in the UK.

It is certainly not known for their drama program as I have done extensive research into all of the various programs offered in this country and had never heard of the university before I read your post.

Also it is an American university so if your daughter would like to study in London to experience the culture and have a different undergrad experience from the US, I really wouldn’t recommend it. I imagine it would be the equivalent of studying at a not so great university in the US, just in a different location.

I am currently taking a part time course at Rose Bruford College and would really encourage your daughter to look into this drama school if she is interested in studying in the UK (particularly the American Theatre Arts course). I have fallen in love with the college and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about it.

Thank you for your response. Here is the link to the school. It’s an international school from what I understand. I will also check out the school you mentioned.
