What is the work load like? Princeton Review talked about Case as if there was no time for free time due to the ample time devoted to academics. How hard is it to get an 'A'?

How is the economics department as I understand this is mainly an engineering school?

Also, what are the pros/cons of the school?

Hi! As a sophomore, I have taken classes in several different departments, including psychology, biology, nursing, chemistry, as well as sociology and religious studies (which are my majors). I feel as though, and especially with talking to students who are in science majors, that if you work hard you can get an A. Most students do have some kind of social life, but most students do want an A also so everyone is able to find a balance in their work and fun time. The Weatherhead School of Management is nationally ranked and students really enjoy their classes there. I have a close friend studying economics and political science and I know that he has had many good professors and a great experience!

It is rigorous and it is difficult. If you can graduate with a Case degree, you can handle anything.

But the “all work, no play” stigma is exxagerated. Students have plenty of free time here, especially once they figure out how to handle their workloads.
