<p>Tomorrow is a big day for the USMA Class of 2008. They receive their class rings at Trophy Point. When I talked to my usually low key cadet he sounded like a kid on Chritmas eve. He was really excited. The weather looks like it is going to be great and it should be a moving event. Anyone else going to be there?</p>

<p>My son also informed me that he has been chosen as a Primary Candidate for one of the precious few medical school slots that are awarded each year at USMA. He has worked so very, very hard and it is about to pay off. My wife and I are so incredibly proud.</p>

At USMA the cadets pay for their rings.</p>

<p>Midshipmen buy their rings......I was told that they start at about $1,000.</p>
