<p>The first time you ever heard Larry, it was almost intolerable - the raspy, gravelly, folksy narrative was so different from the rest of the field of sports journalism that it was hard to get used to. After your first exposure to him, watching or listening to a Georgia game without Larry’s descriptions was intolerable. The current broadcast crew is solid, but Georgia football has never been, and will never be, the same without Larry.</p>
