<p>I'm surprised that I'm actually sad about this tragic incident. He was a chirpy fellow loved by everybody, and I didn't even realize until today.</p>

<p>This is so unbelievable, I never would have thought he'd be killed in his work. Especially not by such a benign creature as the article seems to say.</p>

<p>my kids, especially 15 yr old son, adored him...he was a brave guy, and a risk-taker
and a friend to all animals
we'll miss him...</p>
