<p>i think GPA would be more important than SATs to art schools, portfolio is the most important, of course, but SATs dont show your work ethic or anything, really. GPA shows how much work you can handle and how seriously you take things</p>
<p>ps. CMU doesnt have a photo major. my bro goes there and i got a port review at a NPD and the guy started off by saying, you know we dont have a photo major, right?</p>

Looked at the same schools, applied to UMich, Tufts/SMFA,Cornell, WU.
Also applied to NYU Stienhardt, I liked their studio art photo major much better than Tisch.
Syracuse, USC also have terrific art photo majors and offer double majors.</p>
