This is the second post on RISD on this forum and its high price tag (this includes other high-priced art schools).There are many other cheaper options like two years of community college, local school like Mass art- ateliers that could save you hundreds of thousands of school loan debt, Google away- the info is out there.</p>

<p>This isn’t as much a RISD story as it is a story about self-funding at any expensive (read: private) college. Many students have little awareness of either how interest builds up the debt or how much time (and luck) developing a remunerative career takes.</p>
