Hello,

So I've got my acceptances from RISD and Pratt. My first choice is RISD but they gave me no FA. Pratt gave me $11,000. When I do the math the difference is about $10,000 with RISD on the higher less reachable end (of course!)
I really wanna go to RISD but is Pratt just as good? I'm trying to learn to love Pratt but there's sooooo much good about RISD?

What do I do?

PS It's an Industrial Design major (or maybe furniture)

I say go for RISD. I’m not an expert on the art world, but I know it’s very, very challenging to make it and I think the weight that the name RISD carries is a huge advantage to have.

You need to sit down with your parents and run the numbers through a calculator like this one: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid) How much of that difference is going to be covered by student loans or parent loans? Will you (and/or your parents) be able to pay them off in a reasonable amount of time based on your future salary expectations?
