I want to major in biomedical engineering or biochemistry (depending on which college i go to) hopefully going into pre-med and eventually med school. I want a college that will prepare me very well for medical school -- faculty and such actually care bout students. Duke's engineering school (Pratt?) is my number one choice for now.

looking at schools such as
Duke (#1), UVA, UPenn, Harvard, UMichigan, Boston College, Univ Md College Park, William & Mary.. and a bunch of other schools. i need to know which schools are safety, fit, and reach. other school suggestions are welcome!

Questions:
1. Which are safety, match, reach schools?
2. What other colleges do you recommend?
3. How can I improve my chances (SAT scores, etc)?

THANK YOU :)

Duke: Low Reach
UVA: Match
UPenn:Reach
Harvard: Reach
UMichigan: High Match
Boston College:Match
Maryland:Low Match
W & M: Low Reach

depending on where your from, the state schools can change
