How bad would it look to be a rising junior, this late in the game? Like my grades in freshman and sophomoe aren’t bad, or anything, but definitely what I’m capable of. Thanks in advance.

Huh? I'm totally confused. What are you asking?

the answer is yes.

(umm. . .yeah. . .I am a rising junior. . .and I guess I look bad. . .??)

Do you mean like, you are JUST starting to improve your grades? As in, they were in the same range for freshman and sophomore year, but now you're improving, and how that will look compared to people who have had an upward trend since freshman year? That's how I understand it, and I don't think it looks bad, because improvements are always good. I, for one, didn't improve at all, my grades basically stayed the same...

but this has to do with how low your grades were to begin with. Obviously someone with a C had a lot more room to improve than someone starting off with an A.

LOL I second ..I do not understand what you are asking.

I think the terms "rising junior" and "rising senior" mean that you are going to be a junior/senior when classes start in the Fall. It isn't about improving gpa trends.

that guy has like 600 posts. . .he's bound to know what "rising junior" means. . .
but i guess it makes more sense your way, dufus

Well he talks about grades, and i assumed rising junior, etc the first time and was completely baffled by the question.
