Thank you. Do you think not living on campus, I would lose the experience?
Yes. It’d be different. It’d be more like professional SUPER high school - go to class, go home. You’d have to make an effort NOT to go home., look for new friends, etc. Thousands do it every year.
Which major do you think has better prospects geology or environmental science/ sustainability ?
they’re probably roughly equal.
Does oswego really get that much snow? I was also thinking about joining crew club. Which only oswego has for beginners. I think Rit has more stuff to do. Any opinions on this?
Yes I think they do get more snow than Rochester does. I think there is lots of stuff to do at Oswego too. Another visit would give you a chance to get more specifics on that.
I went to oswegos accepted students day and got to see the science labs and rooms and they were very nice. The whole building was really nice. So i think i am going to go to oswego. Thanks for all your help.
That’s great @newstudent2016 ! You should post back again after you start and let people know how it’s going. There isn’t a lot of info about Oswego on CC and what you share could be helpful to others.
Congratulations!
Yes, as @mom2twogirls stated, please come back to post in “Lessons Learned and Hindsights”, about the process and your first year. Or keep the “OSwego” forum alive with a “current Oswego student, ask me anything” thread!
Thanks i will do that. When i was trying to research information on oswego i couldnt really find much on here ,so i’ll post my experience. Thanks for all your help.
