Did anyone get a decision into the Game Development program?
@ajc my daughter is also majoring in applied Mathematics I believe they have applied to several of the same schools. Do you have one you are leaning towards.
Do financial aid/scholarships come out separately from acceptances? My daughter was accepted but no mention of the financial aid/scholarships.
Merit Awards are out!
@futurenursemom1 Thank you for reaching out. I will send you a private message.
Yes, @drewsmom17 he received an email that there was a change in status. Same for merit scholarship email received yesterday. Good luck!
Merit awards and Financial Aid are sent separately not at the same time Financial Aid seems to follow merit awards by about two weeks.
We are still waiting to hear. I wonder if that is a bad sign…
Looking at past feeds, I do think it depends on major. Our local accepted student reception is at the end of March, so still plenty of time! Good luck!
@catort7779 we are still waiting too. At least as far as I know. S19 told me I’m not allowed to ask him if he checked his email anymore. He said he’ll just find out when he finds an email.
I guess obsessively checking email is not an inherited trait. lol
Still waiting for son who applied to mech eng/aero. He applied before he even visited so didn’t write the typical RIT is the only school for me type essay. We almost changed his app to ED2 but then decided not to because…I can’t remember why. We just decided to leave it as RD. Since visiting in late fall, I think RIT became his top choice and now I’m going a little crazy waiting to hear. But he’s fine. He is the type to not realize decisions have come out. At least that’s how he was with his EA’s.

anyone know if scholarship increases based on performance once at RIT, or is the amount given initially a fixed amount? Thanks!
merit is usually fixed the same every year, but you have to maintain a certain GPA to keep it. Financial aide can vary each year.
