Is there a way that I could possibly get my hands on this book because the only section that really needs work for me is CR, and I've heard that this book is the best one to boost your CR grade...

There’s an excerpt here on the Family Education website

How about the full book…?

bumppp… anyone know where i can get this???

I just bought one from this website today. Its in australia

url=http://www.holisticpage.com.au/TheRocketReviewRevolution:TheUltimateGuideToTheNewSatAndThePsatWithCdrom_AdamRobinson|9780451219466 The Rocket Review Revolution: The Ultimate Guide to the New SAT and the PSAT with CDROM: Adam Robinson: Buy Online

The book cost $30 and $5 for shipping so much cheaper than amazon. Haven’t received it so can’t say much more…

Just bought from this site:
http://www.superbookdeals. com/cgi-bin/moreinfo.cgi?item=4189957&SEO_TID=6798501&seoid=24

(remove space before com) for $34. Brand new and in the US.

Do you guys think the book is actually worth it? I mean, it was published right when the new SAT was released… do you find any of the advice to be perhaps outdated?

Wow $30? What edition did you guys get because the last one made, 06-07 I think, is over $200 on amazon.

Momom2 have you actually received the book from them yet? because i see many atrocious reviews in regards to that website.

xAlex452 - Hmmm… maybe I should have done a little more research before ordering. Many reviews are NOT good. Will keep you posted about whether or not I receive it. Another site also had it cheap, but it was out of the UK:
http://bookshop.blackwell. co.uk/jsp/welcome.jsp?action=search&type=isbn&term=0451219465&awaid=65769&awgid=0&awbid=0&awid=65769&awpid=0&awcr=&src=awin

Should the book I ordered actually arrive, it will be a new 2006-2007 one. I guess we’ll see.

I have the 2005 RR edition from our local library. It gives some nice tips, but doesn’t seem that special to me.

I recall buying it off of amazon a year ago for 30-50 dollars

CR - Direct Hits, BB, College Board Online Course (OC) (enough for a 500–>800)

W - BB, OC… try silverturtle, and 12 Essay guides (should get you to 750+)

M - BB, OC (should be enough for 800)… if you still have problems try Dr. Chung

I think the “advice” given in RR is mostly rather obvious; it’s a somewhat helpful but not absolutely necessary guide (at least for me). I got the book off Amazon around an year ago for $13 (probably a lucky find; the rest were overpriced at $200+).

Hmm, I guess it’s not worth it then. Too bad my local library doesn’t have it… or I would have given it a try.

Well, whatdaknow… superbookdeals just sent me an order cancellation email. Seems they didn’t actually have the book in their warehouse. :o) Oh well.

I was able to order it through an interlibrary loan program at our local library.
