Rolling admission

I applied early September for Fall 2018. My gpa is low for UCF but my act is at their average. I go to one of the top schools in the country and I have over 200 hours of community service, I am also the executive head of a non-profit organization. I have a good essay and I have three recommendations, one being from the principal of my school. It’s been a little over two months and I haven’t heard anything back yet. Should I be worried? What are my chances of getting in?

Fall 2019**

Assuming you have checked your online Undergraduate Application Status, you can email or call the admission office.

If you have questions regarding your admission status, please e-mail admissions@mail.ucf.edu or call 407-823-3000.

I have called and emailed (I don’t want to be annoying) and all that they say to me is that if all the necessary materials are in (which they are) then my application is under consideration.

A lot of people ended up waiting last year until February to hear back. Mostly due to low test scores or GPA. Hang in there, you haven’t been deferred, so that’s a good sign!
