So some colleges have rolling admissions. Basically, I have large window of time to apply.

What would be the advantages of applying earlier or the advantages of applying later? Does it honestly matter in any way when I apply as long as I apply before the deadline? Are there any more chances for scholarships or anything beneficial at all that is dependent on the time that I apply?

I'd like all the information you know. Thanks guys :D

If a school does rolling, once the class starts filling out, you may end up having more competition for a spot the later you apply. Also, make sure you know when deadlines are, if you’re applying to any special programs.
My favorite safety has a deadline for something like April 2012, but the deadlines for honors college and applying for scholarships is mid-Nov. 2011.
I’ve finished my safety applications first, so that way maybe I’ll have at least have two or three admits for some confidence before my ego gets bruised in the rest of the admissions process.
I would just say go ahead and apply as early as you can, since you really have nothing to lose. Especially if you’re looking for FA.

The only time to possibly delay applying to a rolling school is if you will have something to add that will substantially strengthen your application (eg. test retake, major award). Otherwise, apply as early as possible for all of the reasons that lollo stated.
