Rolling Admissions?

How do Rolling Admissions work?
And are they better than normal admissions?

With Rolling Admissions, you will hear Yes or No pretty soon after submitting your application. The institution will continue to accept applications until it is full. It is a good idea to apply as early as possible so that you get in line for any goodies that they have to hand out such as guaranteed housing, priority class registration, and/or scholarship money that has early application dates.

Oh so that’s what it is. When can you start applying?

After you find out if you got in or not, how long do you have to decide if you want to attend that college?

You can apply as soon as they have the links set up in September or so.

If housing is an issue, usually you can make a refundable deposit for that as soon as you’ve been accepted. Often the deposit to hold your space in classes is separate and isn’t due until May 1 just like with the other places. However, you need to ask each school because they may have a different policy about it.
