<p>I've noticed that my local state school (Rutgers) happens to have rolling admissions, and I have a couple of questions about how rolling admissions work:</p>

<ol>
<li>If you apply in the beginning (earlier than the others), do you also get your acceptance/denial letter earlier?</li>
<li>Are scholarships given out in a rolling fashion as well? If I applied in the beginning, would I have a higher chance of being selected for scholarships?</li>

<p>Generally speaking, the sooner you get your application in, the sooner you know YES/NO.</p>

<p>Some scholarship money is first-come-first-served. Contact the admissions and scholarship offices at Rutgers if that is the case for any of the money they have available.</p>
