<p>I got a letter in the mail today saying that I wasn’t awarded the Hacer scholarship. </p>

<p>But I didn’t apply to that one? I applied to the asian one.</p>

<p>What is that about?</p>

Does financial need play a huge part into this?
Ex. if my family makes >400k a year, do you think I can still get the scholarship?</p>

<p>I got the $17,000 AAFA Scholarship! This came right after Gates Millennium rejected me, so it was a huge pick-me-up.</p>
