Roomates and Learning Communities

<p>What is the best strategy if you know you want to dorm with friend (roomate) but want to participate in a learning community (e.g. MRC or MCSP)? If each roomate has different interests they may not want to apply to the same LC but my understanding is if you have a roomate request you may get assigned to a particular dorm (that may not be associated with the LC you are interested in). Any comments would be appreciated. </p>

<p>Also any feedback on the Community Scholars Program - Pros/Cons?</p>
