<p>I got my housing assignment today and was wondering about roomates. I don't see anything in the package about that, do I not find out till I arrive in August who my roomates are? Is there a personality test-esque form to match us?</p>
<p>Anyway, I couldn't be happier with the assignment- West Quad Triple. I was lottery number 980. Does that mean I was 980 of 8000 or whatever?</p>

<p>Early in August (August 1st?), you can log onto myhousing on the housing website and get information for your roommates and specific room. When you filled out your housing form there should've been a section about preferences (early/late riser, studier/partier, etc), and I'm pretty sure they take that into account. But for now, they just know that they have X number of room types in this dorm and they make sure they get X number of people assigned to those room types, but they don't get the specific assignments/pairings done until beginning of August. That gives you about a month to correspond and get stuff ready for when you move in.</p>
<p>thanks. maybe I just don't remember filling that out. Anyone have any idea how many were in the lottery. It's meaningless, but I'm curious about what my number means.</p>
