I was flying solo last year, but have a roommate this year and he is awesome! You always hear the roommate horror stories, so I thought I would I post a good one. We hit it off immediately and have become the best of friends. Almost like brothers. We just spent the last 2 plus hours talking and :(( :(( :(( crying our eyes out together about all of our problems. And not just school stuff. Family stuff, relationship stuff, etc. It was great!! We devised a plan to do it every week until we graduate. I hope all of you have awesome ro0mmates too!!
This is great to hear. Positive stories are rare but glad it’s working out for you.
Awesome! I love my roommates and hopefully they at least tolerate me. It’s nice to always have people to can talk to about basically anything, go out with, and who will hopefully help in emergencies.
Now if only they could learn to take out the trash on their assigned day…

I had a randomly assigned roommate last year and we got along very well, despite having almost nothing in common. It does happen, thankfully.
I peacefully coexist with mine, not best friends or anything but we manage. Can’t really ask for more than that.
