Good stories? Bad stories? post them

I have a feeling something about the long m word will get brought up here.

Indifferent. He’s kind of weird, but I don’t have any problems with him and he’s rarely there.

I got lucky, my college blessed me with a great roommate. We have a lot in common and get along very well.

^ Same. And mine loves to cook/bake…I seriously couldn’t have asked for much more than that…

My roommate is alright. We peacefully coexist and we’re both pretty good about respecting each other, but we’re not really friends and basically never hang out outside of the room. Not the perfect roommate situation, but definitely could be worse.

I actually consider the situation in post 7 as the “perfect roommate situation.” Peacefully coexisting and respecting each other is a big deal after my fiasco with my friend roommate.

I will never room with friends again, as I value my friendships. In hindsight, I accept most of the responsibility for causing that friendship to dissolve, but former roommate’s total lack of logical reasoning ability and common sense really didn’t help things out when we were trying to normalize the roommate situation.

^^^ I have the best roommate that I could possibly imagine. I roomed blind and we just happened to get along great…zero issues (and this is the 2nd year we are rooming together). I think the key to our “success” was that we were roommates first…got to know each others habits and eccentricities, and weren’t up in each others faces “doing everything together” at every moment of every given time. We hung out with other people at first but our personalities clicked and we just naturally became friends…it also helps that we both have the “i don’t care, borrow my stuff without asking, do whatever” mentality but still treat each other and our property with respect.

1st roommate freshman year- weirdo who would wake me up by crying in the middle of the night screaming at his computer. he moved out.
2nd roommate freshman year- great guy, one of my closest friends now.
roommate sophomore year-cool guy, he was a friend of mine last year, but the only thing I can complain about is he plays WoW and skypes with his friends from it, so it’s kinda annoying when he’s talking to them and what not. WHATEVER, could be worse
