Roommates!

Binghamton has a completely random roommate assignment method. As a transfer recently accepted into SOM for Fall 2012, entering as a junior. I'm hoping to meet some people to talk to and hopefully find a roommate versus leaving it up to picking out of a hat. If both roommates request to room together it is almost always granted.

With that being said, I'm 20 years old, white, from Long Island, majoring in Accounting. I can't wait to go away and experience college life. I will without a doubt go out and have a good time, but school always comes first. Always has, always will. I have my priorities straight. I guess you can say I'm a morning person, I like to take morning classes and be done for the day. I get up early and go to the gym before class.

Hoping to get into Newing, and then 2nd choice maybe Mountainview, not sure yet though.

Please let me know if anyone is interested!!

Hear from you soon!!

First, I’ll like to congratulate you on your acceptance. I, too, will be entering Binghamton as a transfer student. However, I was accepted into the Harpur department instead, not sure how it’ll affect housing.

I was accepted into harpur also. However, I don’t think which college affects housing because the campus is so small and the buildings are all close to each other.

Your academic college has nothing to do with housing. SOM can live with Harpur who can live with Watson and so on.

I’ll also be in Harpur! I can’t decide whether I should dorm or get an apartment… i don’t want to be stuck with freshmen but I also don’t know anyone ah!
