<p>Some of my friends are going to ucr but i chose to get a random roommate because its a great opportunity to meet someone new and make a good friend</p>
<p>If you are that intent of getting a roommate you are at least familiar with then head over to the UCR Class of 2013 group of Facebook. There you will find the forum with a thread called “Roommates” where there is a survey filled out by other incoming students.</p>

I posted my answers in that “Roommates” discussion topic a few days after I sent in my housing contract, and about 2-3 days later, there was a girl who wanted to be my roommate. Now we’re friends AND possibly roommates, since I put her name and she put mine on our housing contracts. xD</p>
<p>Hii I’m Vivian and I’m going to UCR next year. I was gonna dorm in pentland but i heard east lo is more social so I’m thinking of living there in a doubles room. <p>Yeah… i also filled out the survey on the facebook thread, but looking through some of the others was somewhat discouraging… I’m not a partier/drinker/smoker, but a lot of the people I saw on there are… Not that I really mind, but I want to be able to hang out with my roomate. I signed up for a triple in Pentland, and i may be in the honors dorm. If anyone out there is in a similar position contact me via facebook or Cameron Booth (cameronbooth) on Myspace. </p>

<p>When you make changes to your housing contract (payed like april 6), do you have to press the “submit contract” button or can you just save it?</p>
