<p>Me and another kid requested each other as roommates and submited the requests through the way the email said. When do we find out our room, residence hall and all that stuff?</p>
<p>July 15th I believe. Housing would have that answer.</p>
<p>On July 15, will Housing contact the students with their dorms & roommates or do the students actually have to go online to find out this information? My S doesn’t seem to know how to do it and claims he never received a housing username and password or pin. Does anyone out there have any of these answers. Otherwise he will just have to call Housing on the 15th. Thanks</p>
<p>I seem to remember that last year my son got an email with his housing information including the name and contact info for his roomate.</p>
<p>Neither my son or his roomate made the effort to contact each other prior to move-in day (like-minded, “why bother” attitudes). Interestingly they’ve become friends and are rooming together next year as well</p>
<p>I’m confused. Does Housing and Residence Life call you at all? Some kids on Facebook have said that they’ve gotten phone calls that basically say, “Blank requested to be roomates with you, do you accept?” Others have gotten phone calls that are more just a confirmation that they are indeed roomates with someone else. Should I be worried if I haven’t gotten one of these?..</p>

<p>IIRC, you log into the housing system on July 15th to find out where you were placed.</p>
