<p>I just stumbled across the website Roomsurf.com, and I'm tempted to join so that I can see what the my future classmates are going to be like at the different schools I've been accepted to. But the thing is that I'm not sure where I'm going yet. Is it ok to make an account and fill out the survey without being sure where you're going? Or would I be messing with people who might want me as a roommate but then find out I'm not even going to their school (since I don't know exactly how it works yet...)?</p>

<p>I have no idea whether anything good or bad will happen if you register, except that you’ll be giving a lot of your personal information away to a company that will make money by selling it. Personally, I wouldn’t do that. YMMV.</p>
