ROOOOOOOMMMATTEe!!!!

i used to listen to blink182!!!.... in 6th grade.

the guy doesn't even have aim and apparently doesnt check his email... ya gotta find some way to communicate to people, and he didn't leave his phone number on the housing website either... yarrr

the best blink 182 song is "Stay Together for the Kids"

all the other songs I don't really care for.

lol when did this start on blink 182? Since we are on it, Blink is the best band EVER. No flames or objections necessary because...I wont listen!

" After getting denied from all top dorm choices, (I'm in Snyder now...Yay...), I've been placed with an international from India and some other dude. Should be interesting."

Now I'm some other dude? =P
I did a little digging and Dhaka is in Bhangladesh, not India.

alright, i just wanted to say something about the whole facebook/my space thing. first of all, your roommates-to-be not having accounts on these sites means absolutely nothing about about them whatsoever. maybe they are anti-social, maybe they are technologically challenged, maybe they don't have internet access where their house is, maybe they don't want to waste their time on some stupid internet site that tells you how many "friends" you have. I personally DO have an account but solely for the purpose of keeping in touch with friends at different schools. And although your roommate has 10 friends, maybe he just doesn't care enough to take the time to add all his friends. I don't know, I guess I'm just trying to say not to judge your roommates before you even talk to them because they do or do not have an online account

Some good advice there topher02. I use facebook pretty much the same way. Only my friends are on there whether they be from my school or other schools. I personally like it because it makes it easier to stay in touch despite being at all different colleges. I know that judging my roommate based on the number of friends he might have on his facebook will not necessarily give me an accurate picture of my roommate especially since, as you said, you don't know the circumstances or whether they necessarily bother updating the thing. However, unfortunately it seems that my roommate does update his periodically based on facebook's records. Also he has filled out all the different aspects of his personal likes and dislikes (movies, music, likes/dislikes in general, favorite quotes, books ect.), which is where i found that he doesn't like college. That was the part that worried me and the fact that he seemed to update his profile is the reason I was partly judging him from it (however wrong that may be). Anyway, if it seems that things don't work out in the first week I'll most like apply for a change. But hey, it could turn out that we end up getting along, I doubt it, but I'm open.

lol booboisie,

it's the other way around for me, me and this other guy are Korean-american, and we got another white guy? not sure yet, only know his name, but what's annoying is he wont answer his emails!! :P
