Roosevelt/CCPA? Voice?

I was asked about CCPA. I have no opinion. Any thoughts on Chicago a College of Performing Arts for voice?

My D is a first year grad student at CCPA and I have been very impressed with that program and the voice faculty there ( I’ve known at least 3 other grad students who have gone through the graduate VP track there also). The same faculty work with undergrad and graduates and they are all experienced performers themselves.
Undergrads have their own showcases and operas (the first two years are scenes and showcases while the juniors & seniors put on a Mozart, Gilbert & Sullivan, or 2 one-act works) so they are assured performance ops and don’t have to compete with the older students for roles. Facilities are quite nice- performance classes in the lovely Ganz Hall and since everything is interconnected, students don’t have to fight the Chicago weather to get to classes, dining, the gym or residence hall (undergrads). The old building is connected to the new, 32 story Wabash Building, the top 17 floors of which are residence halls with amazing views of Lake Michigan.
Another great “perk” are the student tickets available for the Chicago Lyric Opera- $20! I would assume that the younger kids attend and know that the grad students go to everything. D is over the moon because she’ll be going to the recital given by Renee Fleming and Jonas Kaufmann this Wednesday!
