Rose Hill/Theatre Minor??

I want to do a Communications major and a Theatre Minor. However, I am worried about the LC campus because I heard it is harder to make friends, and I can be very shy amongst people I don't know too well. I also feel like I would enjoy the traditional college campus feel more. Is it possible for em to live on the Rose Hill campus and minor in Theatre?

On an extra note, how is the transportation around the city from Rose Hill? How far is it from Broadway by bus and by subway?

My daughter is a communications major and theater minor. She is at LC. You would have to go to LC for your theater classes. It is possible as far as I know, but will require a lot of back and forth.

I’m not sure why someone told you it is harder to make friends at LC.

They have vans that go between the two campusses all day long. If you are taking classes, you can get free passes. Otherwise, I think it’s $3.50 a ride. There is also a subway nearby.

My daughter walks from LC to Broadway shows all of the time. She’ll take the subway if it’s cold or snowy. If you are at RH, then first you’d have to get to LC, then go from there.

I don’t know any theater minors at RH (not to say that there aren’t any). I think the best thing to do is to call the theater dept. and ask if it is possible (or advisable) to do a theater minor from RH.
