Ross question

What activities are preferred when you apply? Is it the projects or just clubs that you are involved in? I heard random stuff from a few people so I'm a little bit confused. If i join a club or start a volunteer cause that would have the same credibility as anything that someone's really involved in too right?

Just be involved in a few EC's. Remember that you're a freshman, which means you won't necessarily have a huge leadership role in anything. They know that. Get involved in any way you can, and you should be fine.

Get involved in things that interest you. don't gt involved in activities for the sake of getting in ross.

so starting a club for the sake of getting in is stupid right? and just like any type of teamwork thing that i like is a good idea?

There are going to be people that do stuff they don't enjoy for the sake of getting in to Ross. The point is if you are doing something that you are at least interested in you will likely have accomplished more, and have more to talk about, when it comes time for the application. Plus, it would just make the year more enjoyable.

two more quick questions..

are they accepting more kids next year.. and is the resume part of the application gone for this year?

yea i've been hearing conflicting info regarding the resume aspect of the application...

So to apply to Ross:
1) English, Math 115 (or Ap equivalent), Econ 101 (or Ap equivalent)
2) 27-45 transferable credits
3) 3 Essays

App due in late March.

Is that basically it or do we need to turn in a resume, interview, and/or do anything else?

That's basically it.
