What school did you try to transfer from newway?
Newway, you applied to Ross from another university than the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor? If that is the case, your rejection is pretty standard. Ross only admits a dozen or so students from outside the University of Michigan.
Michigan08, I am surprised by your rejection too. From my understanding, the admit rate into Ross for Michigan students with GPA over 3.7 is over 90%. Most rejections are students with sub 3.5 GPAs. I have personally known two dozen or so students from Dubai who have gone to Michigan with the intent on getting into Ross. Every single one of them maintained a GPA over 3.7, and every single one of them was admitted.

Calculus Credit from 5 on AP Calc BC Exam
Essays were good, put tons of time into them. Was on Hall Council and in FBLA Club (Future Business Leaders of America), and in a social fraternity. Had nothing lower than an A- on my transcript.
@rjkofnovi from EMU. @Alexandre I knew that the admit rate for transfer students is like 1 percent. Nonetheless, I needed to try and get into my dream school. I also applied and got accepted into LSA and will attend Michigan in the Fall. As a rising junior do you guys suggest I reapply and what are the statistics of upper classmen getting into the BBA program?
@newway I’m unsure of exact statistics, but it’s much more likely than a transfer. I think Ross admissions appreciates the persistence.
It is not uncommon for rising Juniors to apply, and get into, Ross. If you have the GPA and the community involvement, you should have a good chance.
