I am currently in community college in VA, and I will be transferring to one of these three schools as a Junior.

GMU
ODU
VCU
I have 3.5 GPA currently and all this schools above have ROTC program.

My questions are

Do they look at high school GPA and SAT or ACT score? (Because I have really bad SAT score)

What are my chance of getting ROTC scholarship?

If I do 2 years of ROTC, will I become an Officer? or do I have to do 4 years?

Can someone help me out here.
I've tried calling the schools but they won't answer my questions clearly.

I dont know. Easy question to ask admissions.

Due to budge cuts not very good chances at an in college scholarship from ROTC, but not impossible. Ask the PMS what the % is. Generally they give those scholarships to the peeps who have been kicking butt w/o a scholarship since freshman yr but you never know. Also you can attend ROTC as an affiliated school while in JC.

You need to get in contact with the PMS asap because you need to take the SLC during the summer to “catch up”. But yes it is possible to finish the program in 2 yrs.
All the above only pertains to Army ROTC, I don’t know the answer regarding other services.
