Rough Freshman Year - How much does an upward trend help??

Hey everyone

I’m currently a Junior and I had a bad Freshman year GPA. However, I have a really significant upward trend, and I know this helps a bit, but to what extent?

FRESH: 3.65 W, 3.2 UW
SOPH: 4.17 W, 3.7 UW
JUNIOR*: 4.88W, 4.0 UW
OVERALL: 4.3W, 3.63 UW

*this is if I keep my current grades for the rest of the year which is likely/very possible

I am targeting USC and similar tier schools, ACT is 33

Freshman year is the least important, Jr. year the most. Getting better grades in increasingly harder classes is significant. Some colleges don’t even count freshman year grades.

This is less of a “chance” post, just threw in test scores because I think it helps further prove I’m not a 3.2 student?
