which better for acting/directing major? Worth extra 15K/yr cost to attend Florham?

Considering i went through the whole theater/MT thing with my kid and he is in the business now, and I had to look up what the heck you meant by FDU Florham, I would say no.

I would say stick with Rowan. I’ve been on campus many times for activities my son has been involved with, and it has a nice feel to it. They are doing a lot of improvements to the campus as well as the surrounding area.

I agree with cptothehouse I was not even aware FDU had a theater program and I live about 20mins from it. Plus there is almost no campus life there… I’d stick with Rowan. I think you would happier across the board there. Good Luck to you!

A lot of colleges have theater majors. Watch the money.

Between those two, I would go with Rowan. I know that Broadway is just across the river from FDU/Florham, but realistically you’ll have to work your way back there. Besides their own program, there are plenty of community theaters around the Rowan area and a thriving playhouse scene in Philly.
