RPI vs RIT for Computer Engineering?!

So I committed to RIT for computer engineering a couple days ago. Then today I found out that RPI has offered me spot in the class of 2018 from the waiting list. For RIT I did get a decent amount of scholarship money and RIT's computer engineering program seems to be very good and the Co-Ops are a huge plus. But I believe RPI has more of a reputation in academia and the engineering realm. And since I was pulled in from the waitlist, I don't anticipate getting much of a scholarship. I like both of these schools a lot and i believe both would present me with great opportunities for grad school and a career later on. So is the reputation of RPI worth all of the extra money
I would have to pay? Or should I stick with my original decision of RIT?
