I am accepted by undergraduate Physics departments of all these colleges. I may switch my major to engineering. It is a very tough choice since they are nearly ranked the same in us news rankings…As an international student, I don’t have too much information about these schools instead of from internet. I might be seeking a graduate program after 4 years of college.
UCSD has a relatively strong physics graduate school. But I am a undergraduate student. For this big public school, it is a problem whether I can get into all courses I want. I don’t know if they are taught by TA either.
RPI has a reputation in NY state and is famous for graduate students’ employments. I also found on its website that its physics undergraduate program is very neat. Such a small private school can provide me more support from professors. However I don’t know if I will like the life and atmosphere. Also the students don’t seem to be into graduate programs.
Case western is known as a famous medical school. But I don’t hear a lot about its physics and engineering major. Also I heard Cleveland doesn’t have that many jobs available.
Could someone give me some advice please? I will really appreciate that.
