Is there a Facebook group yet~?

Haha I don’t think it’s up yet. When it is I imagine you’ll all get an email about it.

anyone that got accepted get the program details e-mail that they said they’d send?

Nope, still eagerly awaiting it.

Congratulations to everyone that got in!

I’m thinking about applying next year, but I don’t really like my chances.

Better work your a$$ off over the next eight months… Go for it, and good luck! :)

There is now a Facebook group, so if you got accepted to RSI you should request to join so we can meet you! :)

Not to be ungrateful, but this shows exactly how much of a mistake RSI made to accept me -> I can’t find this group. ;)

The group’s name is RSI 2012, so search for that. If you still can’t find it, PM me and I’ll try to help you. :)

Hey everyone,
I was also accepted into RSI 2012 this year (Research Choices: Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering). I don’t have a Facebook account, so unfortunately I won’t be able to join the group…but I might have a friend stalk it for me. :)

I know this was asked a little bit ago, but if anyone receives the additional info email that they mentioned, it would be nice to know that it was sent out.

@601618,

You should definitely make a Facebook account! My friend asked Maite yesterday when the additional information would come out, and she said sometime this week, so I’m guessing very soon~

I agree, it would be pretty helpful for you to create a Facebook! If you’re afraid that you’ll get distracted, you can always temporarily deactivate your account whenever you’re busy.

I used a friend’s Facebook account to look for the group, but I actually cannot find it either. There is an “RSI 2012” page in French, and a “Research Science Institute” page, but none of these appear to be the correct one.

It’s super private, which is probably why you can’t find it. If you create a Facebook account and PM me, I’ll give you the link to the group (because it’s kind of awkward to join a group through your friend, if your friend isn’t in RSI).

what are your chances of getting in if you are usaco gold and apply for computer science ? Does that look good ?

For people who have went or is going to RSI, what grades are you guys in? Are most juniors or seniors?

As per the guidelines at [Apply to RSI | Center for Excellence in Education](Apply to RSI | Center for Excellence in Education), students with “one year remaining before graduation from high school” are eligible to apply. This means most apply as juniors.

did any of the other usabo finalists get in this year >.< if not this is sad rsi no like usaboers

do you think i have a chance? i got a 2350 SAT but only a 3.2 GPA.

LOL how likely is it that I’ll get into MIT if i get into RSI? D: I really want to goooo
