Hi all, I’m running for NHS president and want to know how my speech sounds:

Note: Nobody in my school (including NHS kids) cares about NHS. Like I say in my speech, it’s a joke. But in our school, it’s mostly about service. But you can probably get that from my speech. Also, we have a lot of time allotted for our speeches, so no, it’s not too long.

I would not say NHS is a joke if you want to be president of NHS.

If the one who runs the NHS hears or feels you’re not taking it seriously, you’re not going to be president.

Calling the organization you want to be a part of “a joke” in your speech and mixing in politics probably isn’t going to help you get elected.
