I am a student at a mostly rural high school (class size around 150 with about half going to college). Will this help or hurt me in the admission proccess?
It will help with class diversity, but you are generally behind in rigor. It’s generally easier to make straight A’s at a rural school, so standardized and AP scores can be very helpful.
State flagship universities generally like to admit students from the entire state, so being at a rural school can be a boost.
