I took an October SAT test (last week) and I'm applying early to some schools. I want to see my score before I send it, just to make sure, so do I need to rush deliver my score? What happens if the colleges receive it after the November 1 deadline?

There are a couple thing you need to check with the schools.
First, do they accept rush score? Many schools do not even accept rush scores.
Second, when is the deadline for scores (which may be later than the application)?
If you have taken the SAT or ACT previously, you may still send in the old scores for now to make sure you application to be complete before deadline. Otherwise, it is likely to be late if you wait for the score first before ordering the score report. If you request to send the Oct score now, they may be delivered around the time your receive the score and that would be fine for the 11/1 deadline.

" What happens if the colleges receive it after the November 1 deadline? " Nothing. Some EA/ED programs accept the early November sitting. Even if your target ones don’t, they know various docs will trickle in before real decisions need to be made. Plus, test scores are a data dump. It’s all electronic. No time elapses.

Save your money. Don’t rush send anything. I believe most colleges will tell you that too.
