Rush Reporting-SAT Scores

I already submitted my application and completely forgot to send in my SAT scores. Will they make it in time if I use Rush Reporting? And does Yale accept Rush Reporting? (I didn't take October tests--I will be sending scores from June 2007 and prior to that).

Of course. I can't say for certain because I didn't apply to Yale (and too lazy to look up the policy cause I'm supposed to be writing a huge paper here), but generally colleges have not even started looking at apps yet (unless it's rolling). Though some universities claim that rush reporting doesn't actually matter, I'm not sure if that's true. Either way for most schools they will guarantee looking at Oct and November testing even for ED/EA, so you should get on that.

Thanks for the reply! I was really freaking out.

I can't find anywhere that talks about their policy regarding Rush Reporting though...

Call them and ask. They'll tell you; it's no secret.

However, be aware that "rush reporting" has College Board sending your scores individually by snail mail. If you don't send them rush, Yale will get your scores in the next batch electronic submission with everyone else's scores. Yale has technology in place to download and catalog those electronic scores. Which do you think will be more efficient for Yale?

My understanding is that Yale does not want rush scores. However, it is irrelevant to your issue. Just order your scores now by regular delivery (they will be sent when Yale has a regularlly scheduled electronic download for scores, which is the same time they would likely be sent if you ordered rush). Yale's November 1 app deadline for EA is not its test score deadline and scores can arrive after the deadline. In fact, for EA Yale even takes scores from the November test date.
