my s is in a fraternity. here is a link to an article about greeek life at fsu in the “Florida State Times”, its a year old or so, but may give you some insight.

the process essentially involves going to the houses you are interested in. then at the end of rush week, hopefully you get a bid from the fraternity that you want, if you even want to join one. the important thing here to remember is that the pledging process can be very demanding on your time and while most fraternities are sensitive to the importance of balancing school with fraternity obligations, its really up to you to make sure you do this.

Our s had a very positive pledge experience. he is in pi kappa phi [FSU Pi Kappa Phi Beta Eta Chapter ? Florida State Pi Kapp](http://www.betaeta.com/)

it seems to have a great bunch of guys and the house is being renovsted this summer and is very close to campus on college ave. if you want to ask my s questions directly, send me a message and i will give you his email/phone info.

good luck
