<p>I need to open a bank account and have been looking for the best place to do so. (citi bank, chase, etc.) While researching, I found out that there is Rutgers University Bank! </p>
<p>Has anyone used it? If so, how is it?
I'm really new at this so I don't really know what I should look for when it comes to choosing banks.. </p>

<p>This has nothing to do with the university. There is a Wachovia branch very handy to the College Avenue Campus.</p>
<p>Don't use it, the Rutgers Banking isn't very good. College Ave has a Wachovia, PNC and Bank of America all within walking distance of a bus stop and almost all of them offer free checking accounts for college students (which means you pay no fee to open it up, you can put any amount, usually let you off with one free overdraft, etc....</p>
