has anyone heard if they got in or not b/c classes are less than 2 weeks away and I still havent heard if ive been accepted or not

I had called yesterday and was told notifications were in the mail and would arrive either on the 20th, 21st or the 22nd.

LoL they actually told me all 3 days

ACCEPTED!!! I got my first choice also. Good luck to oleosmirf and Njken, hope you guys get in.

nice i just got my acceptance letter too. accounting major here. AIS is going to suck…

Grr…Nothing yet for me

What does it say to do next? Do they include a pre-made schedule or something?

no we have to go Wed August 26th at 10:00 AM to take care of that.

Tell me that you got in NJken, come on tell me…

our schedules are up. anyone know a way we can view a syllabus online or something so I can buy books already

just go to webreg.rutgers.edu, go to manage registration, then New brunswick-ferran mall and it should tell you the books needed for your schedule.

what is your accounting schedule like? Can you tell me some courses and time of them? I want to know because my students in transition course was conflicting with some of the business courses and the dean had to work her way around it so I just need to know if my schedule is all over the place compare to other accounting major. thanks

hopefully a spot opens up so i can switch out of the night class for Intermediate…

Were you guys already Rutgers students, or are you transfers? What was your GPA?

thanks man, appreciated it

Our main courses, Intermediate accounting and information accounting system, are at different times. And speaking of night classes, my AIS class ends at 9:30 pm.

i transfered to Rutgers A&S in March with an associates degree. I had a 3.71 GPA at the time and all you need is like a 3.2 for A & S i think (if you are coming in with a degree)

Then I applied to the business school in July (with a 3.5 something GPA (got a C in calc) and got my acceptance letter for business school about a week ago…

hero

so you have 2 night classes on monday and wednesday…thats brutal…hopefully you’ll be able to switch as well…

I’m a transfer as well with a very sexy gpa that I love to stare at for hours.

Oleo, I don’t think we will have a social life this semester. I was planning on joining a frat, some clubs, and hanging with friends, but now I think I will be coop up in my dorm being buried under AIS projects. Why did they give accounting majors their hardest class for the first semester, it makes no sense.

Oh man, I had that schedule last year.

Having AIS at night is good because it gives you more time to work on the project. Then again, it seemed like those days on Livingston were endless…

hey panic, can you share your experiences on AIS and the first semester in the business school overall? How many hours does it typically take to complete a project decently? thanks thanks and thanks

Well, it was tough. I guess everything you’ve heard about AIS and Stats is true… they really are impossible. I dropped Stats pretty early once I saw how it was going to be.

For AIS, you’ll have seven parts to the project. My group met three or four days for each part, so about 100 hours total (we did above average). This is all in addition to the stuff that you have to study on your own for weekly quizzes.

Business Forum is kind of a nuisance, but at least everyone gets an A in the end.

WHen you dropped stats meth bus, did you remained full time?? I have to remain full time and was wondering if I should register for an easy 3 credit course so if I do drop out of any of my core courses, I will remain full time.
