I am in my 3rd semester at MCC, and will be applying for a transfer with an associates this December to Rutgers Business - New Brunswick & Newark.
I wanted to know my chances because of rocky start so here are my stats:
Summer 2018:

Fundamentals of Health: W
Fall:
History: A-
Economics: A-
English: F
Accounting: F
There is a reason for those poor grades, I had an unfortunate and shocking death of my cousin & my close grandmother in the 3 weeks after my semester started. This were unexpected events and had a huge shock to me and that is the reason for me doing bad. I was unable to focus throughout the semester and hopefully I can write that in my application for my transfer schools to explain. Due to this I was sadly placed in academic warning.

If someone can let me know my chances, or what to do so I can get accepted into Rutgers Business School would be really help. Since Application are only a couple months away, I am getting really stressed because of my first semester.
